To meet market demands and expand the company’s business scope, SAVEN developed and tested multiple new ink products in 2025, which have been successfully launched into the market and received favorable feedback. This article introduces the ink products successfully developed by SAVEN in 2025, including: eco-solvent ink for Epson printers, eco-solvent ink without gamma-butyrolactone, upgraded UV-curable ink (for Epson i3200 printheads), economical DTF ink, and fluorescent DTF and DTG inks.
1. Epson SureColor S8180 (S8100) and SureColor S9180 (S9100) Printer Eco-Solvent Ink
With the launch of the new Epson SureColor S8180 (S8100) and SureColor S9180 (S9100) printers in 2025, there has been a demand for eco-solvent ink compatible with these models. Due to the high price of Epson’s original ink, users are in need of a more affordable and stable alternative ink.
In response, SAEVN has introduced a six-color eco-solvent ink, model ECO-32E, for the new SureColor S8180 (S8100) printers. ECO-32E is similar to Epson’s original ink in terms of color, viscosity, and surface tension, but at a much lower price. Moreover, SAVEN ECO-32E ink is suitable for both bagged and bottled packaging, with optimized performance for the latter, ensuring excellent results in both formats. ECO-32E ink has been tested by several customers and is now in use.
The following image shows a comparison of SAVEN ECO-32E eco-solvent ink and a representative ink from Factory A. Both inks’ C, Y, K, and LK colors are almost identical to Epson’s original ink, but SAVEN ECO-32E ink has M and LM colors that are closer to the original. Additionally, we compared the viscosity and surface tension of the inks, and SAVEN ECO-32E ink is almost identical to the original. Therefore, if you want to reduce ink costs while maintaining high quality and the same color, SAVEN ECO-32E eco-solvent ink is a good choice.

2. GBL-Free Eco-solvent Ink
Gamma-butyrolactone (GBL) is an organic compound. Due to its excellent solubility and low toxicity, GBL is widely used as an industrial solvent and is an important raw material for eco-solvent ink. Currently, most of the eco-solvent inks on the market contain GBL.
Although GBL itself is not a drug, its metabolite, 1,4-butanediol (GBH), has sedative and hallucinogenic effects and can be used to make date-rape drugs or other drugs. Therefore, many countries have imposed strict restrictions on the sale and use of GBL.
The SAVEN ink team conducted experiments and found raw materials that could replace GBL. After multiple tests and improvements, we successfully developed stable and smooth GBL-free eco-solvent ink.
If your country has legal restrictions on GBL, SAVEN GBL-free eco-solvent ink provides you with a legal option.
3. Upgraded UV Curable Ink for Epson i3200 Print head
To meet the demands of customers seeking high-quality printing results, SAVEN has upgraded the UV curable ink for Epson i3200 print head, enhancing the color performance of the ink, reducing its odor, and improving its smoothness during positive pressure and high-speed printing. This is a great choice for those who pursue high-quality printing.
4. Economic DTF Coating Ink
As the competition in the DTF ink market intensifies, DTF inks with a price advantage are increasingly sought after by more customers. To meet the cost reduction demands of our clients, in 2025, we explored dozens of cheaper ink raw materials. After thorough comparisons and selections, we finally chose a reliable Chinese raw material supplier with lower costs and developed an economic DTF coating ink that is more affordable and of decent quality. Compared to the previous DTF ink that used Japanese imported resins, the main difference of this ink lies in its relatively lower stretchability, which is still within an acceptable range, and it offers higher cost-performance.
5. Fluorescent DTF and DTG Coating Inks
To meet the demand for personalized clothing printing, we have developed fluorescent DTF and DTG coating inks, available in 4 colors: fluorescent red, fluorescent yellow, fluorescent orange, and fluorescent green. The fluorescent prints on clothing are more attractive and visually striking, making them ideal for trendy apparel.
